Judicial review - I take Claimant and Defendant work, and have taken many cases to the Administrative High Court and to the Court of Appeal.

 

Current and recent work

I am currently working on a judicial review challenge to a planning decision.

Planning - including prosecution and defence of charges brought for contravention of planning regulations

I have a fairly steady flow of Advice and drafting work.I also take some of these cases to planning appeals before Inspectors.

I have many years experience of local government planning.

I am a members of the Administrative Bar Law Association (ALBA) and the Planning and Environmental Bar Association (PEBA)

 

Academic

I am a Teaching Fellow at Exeter University where I teach Administrative Law.

 

Outside Interests

I play golf and am a member (only as a spectator!) of the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club.
