Rougemont Chambers Prison Law Team
Chambers` Prison Law team is headed by Richard Powell. The team welcomes instructions in all aspects of prison law and has extensive experience in representing prisoners at adjudication hearings and in judicial review proceedings. The team has also represented prisoners at hearings before the Parole Board in lifer cases, at recall and Discretionary Conditional Release (DCR) hearings.
We offer a unique service of fast review of Parole Board decisions and have enjoyed success in challenging decisions to recall prisoners by way of re-panelling cases before the Board as an alternative to judicial review proceedings.
