Rougemont Chambers Commercial and Insolvency Team

Rougemont’s Commercial and Insolvency Team provides high calibre advice and advocacy in this field. It has strength and depth: we cover all levels of commercial activity, both contentious and non-contentious and both personal and corporate insolvency.

The experience of individual members of the team range from small claims trade disputes to serious commercial matters in the Court of Appeal, as well as drafting international oil contracts. Similarly, in the insolvency field members deal with both petitioning for and resisting bankruptcies, often trade related but also personal, up to international corporate insolvency, involving tracing funds through off-shore legal and tax havens.

Mediation plays a potentially large part in all commercial disputes and we have members who are qualified mediators (for full details please see our Mediation Team), and most members have extensive experience as mediation advocates.

The Commercial and Insolvency Team covers the whole of the South West, and we have professional clients in London and the Midlands who rate the service we provide so highly that they prefer to use us than the more obvious candidates on their doorsteps. We will travel to wherever we are required.
