Planning

Chambers’ planning and housing team combines national experience with expert local knowledge. Members appear regularly in planning appeals, High Court challenges, tribunals, education matters, judicial review hearings, and appeal cases, and they act regularly in planning inquiries, call-in inquiries, and statutory planning appeals in the High Court. Chambers is able to advise on compulsory purchase orders and a broad range of planning and housing matters, with members able to draw on their considerable expertise in real property, compulsory purchase/acquisition, building and construction litigation, and local authority liability. Members maintain their position as sector-leaders through training, seminars and lecturing.
