Landlord and Tenant

Chambers’ landlord and tenant team is expertly equipped to undertake all aspects of litigation and advisory work relating to business, residential and agricultural tenancies, including security of tenure, agricultural holdings and production controls, possession claims, forfeiture, unlawful eviction, leasehold enfranchisement, rent review and arbitration, and all aspects of housing law. Members are expert at drafting commercial leases, and are able to assist with contentious and complex commercial landlord and tenant disputes, particularly the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 (Pt 2), and residential issues flowing from redevelopment. Individual members act for both landlords and occupiers and appear regularly in the county courts, the High Court, and the leasehold valuation tribunal.
