About Rougemont Chambers
Rougemont Chambers was established in 1997, by present Head of Chambers, Michael Berkley, with the intention of providing a modern, progressive and highly efficient service to both professional and lay clients.
In the last 10 years, chambers has grown steadily, but very selectively. It has become one of the most highly regarded and sought after chambers in the South West and it now has barristers at all levels of seniority and experience, whose aim is to provide you and your client with a comprehensive, highly-efficient and expert service.
Chambers believes that to flourish, the Bar must provide a truly specialist service. It has five specialist teams:
- The Civil Team (containing 8 sub-divisions).
- The Employment Team
- The Family Team
- The Mediation / ADR Team
- The Criminal Team
Our members have developed a solid reputation and an approachable, sometimes innovative style within each of these specialist teams. We are dedicated to providing you and your clients with a first-class service, tailored to your individual needs. We recognise the need to be flexible to meet those needs and the clerking team is renowned for its friendly, helpful and constructive approach.
